Maintenance Courses

Delivered from our classroom at Whinlatter, we aim to save you money by showing you just how easy bike maintenance really is. We offer 2 different courses to suit all abilities and requirements. Whether you just want to learn the basics or build on the knowledge you already have, we have a course for you. Why pay a bike shop to do a simple job that you could be able to do yourself? You do not need to have a great knowledge of bike maintenance to complete many repairs and you could save yourself a lot of time and money in the long run. We will take you through each process step by step with lots of opportunities to ask questions along the way. So why not come along and see how easy it really is.

Testimonials

"Just a quick message to say thanks for the excellent course I attended this weekend.
The tutor was knowledgeable and patient and gave great instruction without being condescending in any way. The course has given me the confidence to complete far more in the way of d.i.y maintenance than I would have attempted before and I will not hesitate to recommend the course to others. Thanks again. (Alan)

"The course delivered exactly what was advertised, we stripped and re-built our own bikes, we had the use of a good bike stand and a full set of decent tools, the task was divided in small steps and made as simple as possible. Support, encouragement or help as and when needed was constantly available. Craig managed to remove any sense of intimidation from the whole process, a credit to his enthusiasm and quiet expertise which seems to be a hallmark of Cyclewise tuition! I enjoyed the course more and I felt much more comfortable throughout than expected. I was somewhat apprehensive about bringing an old road bike in a mountain bike environment but needn’t have worried"! (Caroline)
