Our shop at Cyclewise Whinlatter is "THE ONE STOP SHOP FOR ALL THINGS BIKING"

Opening hours are 10am till 5pm 7 days a week.

With the Altura red and Quercus blue routes starting only 100 metres from our shop, it seems only right that you hit the trails with the best bikes, clothing and gear from top manufacturers. To help you on your way, we stock a vast selection of Cube bikes, as well as clothing and gloves, for Men, Women and Children, from Altura, Royal and Polaris.

Also available in store are Camelbaks, Giro and Urge helmets, Knox body armour, Buffs, Panaracer and Maxxis tyres, component upgrades from Shimano, Hope and Chris King, and a wide variety of other trail kit that we personally use on a daily basis as Mountain Bike Guides and SMBLA Course Providers. "If we don’t wear it or use it, we don’t stock it".

Our Hire Centre has up to 50 Cube bikes available to hire and these are ideal for use on the Altura and Quercus trails or just for riding around and exploring Whinlatter's wonderful forest and scenery. Please see our Bike Hire page for more details.

As a Shimano Approved Workshop & Cytech Approved Centre, we have after only two years been awarded the Cytech gold award in recognition of our 9th position in the top 50 best Cytech shops in the UK. What better guarantee of great customer service for you.

Our staff are trained bike mechanics to a minimum Cytech Level 2; therefore, we can provide a full service facility, or when the need arises our guides can carry out trail-induced repair jobs to keep you riding.

Environmentally friendly bikewash facilities are also available close to the shop at a cost of just £1; a small selection of tools are also available (free to use).

The entire Cyclewise gang are passionate about all kinds of biking. We have the most qualified staff in the UK with an unrivalled knowledge, so please do pop in for a chat, to get some advice or just to relax after your ride. All are welcome (even if you're covered in mud!)
