Tailored to accommodate varying skill levels, our experienced coaches guide families/groups through a series of engaging activities and hands-on exercises that focus on safety, communication, and fundamental riding techniques. From the youngest riders gaining confidence on two wheels to the more experienced family members seeking to refine their skills, everyone is welcome to participate. These sessions not only promote a healthy and active lifestyle but also create lasting memories of shared adventures. Embrace the spirit of togetherness and the thrill of cycling with Cyclewise’s Family Skills Sessions, where the Lake District’s scenic beauty becomes the backdrop for your family’s or group’s cycling journey.

Course Content

During the session, you will learn how and when to control your speed, how to handle corners, and pick the correct lines on the trail. We will also teach you about the correct body position for riding on descents and technical climbs. Making you not only a better rider, but a safer one too. All this will take place at a pace and level that is best suited to your group on our purpose-built coaching trail.

Instructor Ratio: 1:6 maximum
Duration: 3 Hours
Cost: £170 (for a group of up to 6)

Just wanted to say what an absolutely awesome time we had with Robin yesterday. He was so kind and patient, and we learned so much. It was by far the best day of the holidays.
