So what are the Intermediate Skills?
Bunny Hops – The ability to hop the bike over an obstacle in a controlled manner.
Step Overs – The ability to independently lift each wheel over an obstacle.
Step-Ups – The ability to ride along and step the bike up onto a section of trail.
Drop Offs – The ability to ride off a small drop in a controlled manner using body position.
All these skills are extremely useful on both man-made and natural trails.
Therefore, wherever you tend to ride, you will instantly see the difference these techniques make to your riding and the things you can attempt while out on the trail.
Where necessary we will use video feedback so you can admire yourself when you nail the best drop-off or bunny hop of your life!
This course will take you out of your comfort zone and beyond, giving you the confidence and ability to attempt moves and terrain you would never have attempted before.

Intermediate Mountain Bike Skills Reviews
Work and other commitments have left me little time to sit in front of my computer so this note of appreciation is a little late. We attended the intermediate skills course on April 10 and Graham was a fantastic instructor. He provided us with lots of new skills to improve our riding capabilities. As a result, we will be back for some more tuition. Can you pass on our belated appreciation to Graham and we look forward to more training with Cyclewise.
I just wanted to let you know what a great time I had on the Intermediate Skills course in May. My riding has improved so much and I wish I had done something like this years ago. The coach was very good at getting us to understand and then action all the technical skills. I am looking forward to using these new skills when I go to France in the summer. Please pass my thanks on to Graham.
I really did not think I would get as much out of the course as I did. The knowledge of the instructor was superb. He was very good at demonstrating the various techniques we were learning. The use of video playback was also very helpful. I can thoroughly recommend this course to anyone looking to improve their own riding skills. The location was also stunning and one of the best places I have ridden.
