  • Course Description

Using our own purpose-built 'Coaching Trail' we will show you how to clear classic tabletops. We will also show you how using natural features and the motion of pumping you can get off the ground.

During this 1 day course we will teach you all the correct techniques to give you the control, confidence and ability to float over any tabletop and get air with style.

Pumping - Using trail features to generate momentum
Jumping - Controlled take off - Confidence in the air - Controlled landing

We will start building the foundation of these techniques by learning how to pump the trail.

Firstly we will get your bike set up dialed in and working for you, making sure that your rebound isn’t too slow and that it’s ready to ride.

Then it's time to get pumping, this is a really useful MTB trail skill that once perfected will make you super smooth and super quick. You will spend lots of time understanding "dynamic weight shift" and playing with this technique on our own purpose built coaching trail.

After lunch and again utilising our purpose built coaching trail and our three table tops, we will look at progressing the pump into a jump. Starting on the easier jumps we will take you through the technique step by step to help get you jumping with confidence & control.

We will end the day with a debrief and a chance to review your video analysis (where applicable)

    Pump & Jump Course Reviews
Really enjoyed the course. Tuition delivered really well and with lots of patience.

Great day. Learn't loads - just need to put it into practice now. Video slo-mo was really helpful to know what it was I was doing wrong / right. Will definitely be back for more courses.

Fantastic day again with Nick, learned lots of things. Excellent feedback and instructions. Brilliant as always.

I didn't know getting air could be so easy and so much fun. Using the private coaching course made all the difference, no pressure - I could take my time to master the techniques and the use of video feedback was a real plus. Thanks Cyclewise.

Big thanks to Graham for making me fly like an eagle and not land like an elephant anymore! Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the training, great pace, professional delivery and great biscuits.
