Bike Build

Every bike we sell is built, tested, packed and dispatched within 72 hours of placing your order by a Cytech qualified mechanic. We do a pre-delivery inspection on every bike, ensuring gears and brakes are set up, and tyres pumped up.

 

Bike Package

Bikes are delivered 95% built, with only pedals to be fitted and handlebars to be adjusted. Depending on the bike model, there may be further instructions to follow.

Bike Delivery

Your new bike will be despatched with ‘APC Overnight’ courier service, from Monday to Friday.

Standard Bike and E-Bike Shipping

All standard bikes and electric bikes that we ship are built and checked by a Cytech qualified mechanic and then broken down ready for shipping in a bike box. We recycle these boxes from bikes that we get sent to do our best to help the environment so don’t worry if the box on your door has different branding to what you expected.

Delivery of orders to UK addresses usually take us 2-3 working days to build, check, package and despatch, with delivery typically made within 1 working days of this.

Small and Medium Parcels

Standard orders in small and medium parcels usually take us 1-2 working days to organise and despatch, with delivery typically made within 3 working days of this.

These orders will normally be delivered via Royal Mail signed for service and are made between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Addressee signature will be required on delivery or, if not in, a neighbours signature where available and a card left with the addressee.

Other Information

Firstly, please check to see if you have received an email from us, telling you your order has been sent. If you haven’t received any emails confirming your order, then email enquiries@cyclewise.co.uk or call us on 01900 821998 and one of our Cyclewise team will be able to help.

In the unlikely event that you’ve not had your item(s) delivered in the timeframe that was provided, please get in touch by emailing enquiries@cyclewise.co.uk or call us on 01900 821998 . Make sure you’ve got your order reference number to hand (you’ll find this in your order confirmation email).

If your items are damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as you have received them. If the packaging is visibly damaged then please do not sign for the goods. We can’t be held responsible for damaged caused by the courier after a package has been signed for. If you do not have the opportunity to inspect the delivery. You must inform us via email of any such problems within 3 working days.

Please note: if you have instructed the courier to leave your package on your doorstep or in another insecure place, we cannot claim for missing items or damage to your package. We therefore strongly recommend that you ask the courier to leave your package with a trusted neighbour, or collect it from a local delivery depot.

  • When fitting pedals – the right pedal turns clockwise / the left pedal turns anti-clockwise.
  • Please make sure pedals are tight before riding.
  • When adjusting the handlebars – stand over your front wheel looking down the bike to make sure they are straight
